Two of mine are good doers and get hay and a token handful of economy cubes. My veteran mare gets hay and sugarbeet, micronised barley and veg oil. Can't remember prices of the top of my head and too lazy to dig out the receipts.

I will reply by saying i havent a clue ways!
i own a lot of horses/ponies and they all have something different plus they are aged 5months to 27years hence all have diff needs.
in general its a stud balancer, moilichop, sugarbeet, veteran mix, standard cubes, readigrass, plain chop, and i've also started using some bluegrass stuff for one of them. They get either hay or haylage depending on which one it is.
i dont save feed reciepts as otherwise i would scare myself and if hubby found them, well, i would be divorced

Hi Fi about £9 a bag depends where I get it from
Cheap own brand cubes from local tack shop £5.50
hay £3 a bale

• Share a sack of carrots each week with another livery £3.50 sack
• Apples if I remember to get them!
• Tesco veg oil, glug, about £3.45 - 3L bottle

Was feeding garllic in summer to deter flies but not sure it really works, really cutting back on spending so cutting out the garlic as £11 for 3Kg bag.

Lots of fresh air as he is a cob! He has a lovely shiny coat, lots of energy and looks fab!

Dengie HiFi Lite - £9/bag which lasts about six months.
Formula 4 Feet - £90 a bag which lasts for ages (not sure how long as I share it!)
F4F is proving a bit too expensive so am about to swap that to:
Gold Label Biotin - £6 for 900g, will feed it at half dose so that will last for two months.
NAF General Purpose Supplement - £15 for 30 (?) days' worth.
Oh, and she gets apple cider vinegar - £10 for about two/three months' worth, and
MSM - £30 for three/four months' worth (haven't finished the pot yet so not sure how long it'll last!)
For gawd's sake no-one add that up... I don't want to know!

Dengie Hifi for George only- 10.95 a bag and I will use 2-3 over the winter and then go over to Lite for the summer months.
BOSS for both horses - 15.90 a bag and lasts 3-4 weeks.
Naf Respirator for George only - 23.75 for 1 litre to last just over 2 weeks, but I am moving over to Secreta Pro as it will cost me a third of the price each year and does a better job. Saying that, the respirator has done a great job in just 2 days!
F4F for both horses - 77 for a 20kg sack which lasts 6 and a half weeks. Will be moving over to Naf Bitoin and Pink Powder at the end of this bag, and only using the Pink Powder in winter, Biotin all year.
Alfa-A for Lanky only - 10.95 a bag to last around 3 weeks in winter, longer in summer.
Alfabeet for Lanky only - 10.50 a bag to last about 8 weeks. If I use speedibeet in winter instead (When he is not struggling so much to hold weight) then it's 9.75 a bag to last 8 weeks as well.
Vegetable Oil - A 20L tub from Makro for 17.95 which will last about 6 weeks and I only feed it over winter obviously.

So I spend a lot, but they get ad lib meadow hay so they don't need as much bucket feed tbh. I feed a balancer just to be safe, but apart from Nov-Feb, they won't need it as the grazing is good and their hay is good.

Forgot to add that even I was surprised when I went researching on the internet to see what cheaper alternatives/cheaper suppliers I could find. For F4F I was saving quite a bit and there's a big difference in price for some of the other things I feed. Some places are free p and p as well. So shop around.

Molichop £6 (lasts 5 weeks)
Pasture mix £10 (lasts 7-8 weeks)
Alfa Beet £9.50 (lasts.. 8-10 weeks?)
Garlic £7 lasts about 3-4 months
Limestone flour £7, lasts about 3-4 months.

Sunsilk gets Dengie Hi-Fi Lite and Dodson and Horrell Leisure Mix.
JJ has Mollichop and cheap own brand H+P nuts, she is living out but the grass isnt the best. Havent really got a clue how much they cost tho, i just hand over my card!!
