She has very strange coloured eyes, not too sure if you can really see in this picture but they are a very light Hazel colour - do you think they will stay that colour?

This morning at about 4am, Rosie started to whimper and cry - cue daughter going down to give her a cuddle - Doh!! Unsurprisingly, as soon as daughter goes back to bed, Rosie's whimpers became yelps. Daughter then gets son and he brings her up to bed with him! Honestly, just how quickly can you teach a puppy to howl for attention - grrrrr!!

Tonight she is sleeping out with Toby and Flyn!

:D

Pmsl at you and your super criticism of the poor little BC cos it's not a spangle! :p :D Yes I'm sure her eyes will darken, puppies eyes do change colour. :)
She is a poppet, looks very at home with Flynn, he must be chuffed as anything with his new playmate....especially now he can't go hitch hiking for his kicks ;) :p :D

My Dad's Cocker had very light eyes as a pup, they darkened slightly, but they are still much lighter than Otto's.
She is a poppet bless her. I remember getting our first pup (well the first whilst I was alive) the second any whinging occured I was down like a shot to him, I got up super early to play with him too :D Otto on the other hand got told to shut the hell up, I like my sleep more than puppies these days :D

Loving Flyn playing iwth his new toy! :D

Its funny, I don't remember having a puppy with colour changing eyes - no drugs in this house btw!!! :)

Flyn is happy with her and I am sure it has detracted his thoughts of wandering off and sitting in random Landrovers :o for now!

We'll have to get her spayed as soon as possible though - don't want Sprollie pups - mind you, saying that, I have seen loads advertised for lots of money............ only joking!!!

Oooo perhaps it doesn't happen to spangles then?! Dunno never had a spangley pupster...thank heavens! ;) :D All the puppies I've ever had have had light eyes that then darken. With vizslas its a specific breed characteristic that they start off with light eyes and then the eye has to end up a shade darker than the coat by the time they are 2 years old. Flora is 15 months and hers are about the same shade as her coat now, they have a little more to go.......
So there you are, more totally useless vizsla info for you! LOL :p :D

UPDATE:

We have just put all the dogs to bed - they have all gone in the same kennel together to sleep - so that means that my nice, brand spanking new kennel, is so far redundant --- grrrrr!

Vizlak - definitley not useless information!! my friend has vizlas but they do appear to be a bit manic on the shoot ;)

I recently came across the rough coated ones too - love their beards :)

*huh hum* WIRE haired vizslas are lovely yes! :p *mutters* rough coated indeed! :D :D
There are some very manic vizzies about yea...they are slightly 'specialist' to train! Most gundog trainers wont touch them with a bargepole! Once you understand them as a breed and undersatnd how to work with them they are fab though! Flora is very steady and not manic at all working. :D

p.s I'm sure Toby won't put up with those two for many nights! They will soon be evicted into the new kennel! :p :D

LOL - sorry I meant wire haired - honest!! But have to say, having run a gundog scurry for many years at an agricultural show - they do show intelligence :) We get allsorts of breeds entering and I am also particularly impressed with the Spinones - I would have one of those too if we didn't have such a small house!

And I agree that it is the specialist people like yourself that get the best out of them :)

:p :D I wouldn't call myself a specialist unfortunately! Got and had a right old mixture of dogs here!
They are very intellegent....there in lies the problem, Floras not the most energetic dog I've ever met (shes actually pretty lazy for a viz, my others have been more highly strung) but in terms of mental stimulation you can never give them enough! ;)
