A few questions about minis, any mini owners out there?

I have recently aquired a miniature horse, mainly as a companion to my cob but we went to our first show yesterday and she came away with 2 2nds and a 1st, she is only 2 so I showed her in mixed young stock classes in her natural state. There is just so much I don't know about minis and am planning on going to watch some shows in the summer. I do have some questions that perhaps someone can help me with.

How do people transport their minis? is there a trick to making a trailer better for them?

what is the best thing to show her in? yesterday i used an old leather head collar/ filly slip and a leather dog lead as it was all I had but now I am thinking I should invest in something better but not sure what?

Any help/ advice would be greatly appreciated.

we travel them in a standard horde box but many of us have had partitions made so the box fits 4 minis in standing sideways
