Rosie loves the bulb fields, her favourite place! Now I know where Springers get their name from...

I want to print one out to put on the fridge but just can't decide which to choose! Please help me decide!

What great pics, I love them.

Can I ask a question about the daffs? Why do you let them bloom in the field? I thought st you would have to harvest them in bud to sell them, so that they bloom when people get them home. What do you do with in bloom daffs?

EARS!

:D

Boxers, my guess would be that they harvest the bulbs for sale rather than the flowers? Is that even how daffs propogate?

Regardless, it would be worth a fieldful for the nice pictures. :p

Yes black cob is along the right lines- I think these daffs are due to be harvested this year (they are in the ground for 5 years apparently) and OH told me that picking can affect the bulbs. They have picked a few this year from the field, I guess over the 5 years they have rotated the picking so all have been picked say twice out of the 5 years... I think that's the jist of things :)

I love her ears :D

Oh my - those are beautiful!

I think they deserve to all be framed and put up rather than just one on the fridge! Gorgeous!

Thanks everyone hope the pics brightened up your day as much as they did mine! Love her to bits, wouldn't be without her... Rosie's breeder has seen them too and loved them!
