, only that last time I tried it, it turned out I had to finish editing and Submit the edited reply/post within 5 minutes!

They expect me to be able to find a problem (not always a spelling mistake, sometimes I realise that what did sound sensible in direct translation to Swedish inside my head, doesn't really sound correct spelled out in English text, after all), decide how to correct it, spell check, perhaps decide about using another smiley and decide to finally hit the Submit button again, in less than 5 minutes!

*sigh*

I actually only intended to reply and say that the first video was cute with their tails wagging, the second video made me a little confused, I admit to thinking "Are those two brothers?" before I realised that you didn't mean litter brothers

and the photo of "I must have something to rest my head at" is simply adorable, before I saw your second reply and got a little carried away...

He he is a a big but little man now:D....he has grown so much since your last piccies, how is he is general, behaviour wise, and how is his training coming along?

He has grown so much :) his legs are so long just like his dad. He is doing really well he does everything in puppy class its just a case of trying to keep his attention everyone else is still better than me :) ive just watch the stay video and it looks as if i drag him everywhere:eek: i dont its just when he loses attention he is off. Does he look ok in the videos for his age ?? I just want a nice terrier if thats possible :) :)

That gentleman has a rather lovely Northeast accent may I say:rolleyes::D

A tip....when u are doing the sit stay exercises with him, DON'T use his name:rolleyes: i.e "Gismo stay" "Gismo wait", you are basically calling him out of the stay buy saying his name, which he obviously assosiates with coming:p
his command just jsut be "sit stay" then "Gizmoooooooo come", goodboy.:D
He looks fine to me, his recall is fab, he is a clever little dude......his mother a slight bint:rolleyes: but u can't have it all:D:D

From our recent experience of puppy training, I would say go back a stage with the "wait" command and be very clear on the "wait" and "stay" as a couple of times you do ask him to stay as he sits.

They should wait from a single command, not repeated commands, and not from using his name. Try just a step or two away from him and invite him to join you again.

I can move around our living room with Harvey in the "sit-stay" command as he knows there is no follow on command to stay. He will sit there until I return to his side to "release" him. I only use his name to call him to me. "Harvey...(grabs his attention)..."come!!!"

He is a little less patient with "wait" as his puppy mind already knows that wait has a follow on command...such as come, take it, get on, etc.

Whilst Harvey will "wait" for a while, I try not to make him wait longer than 10 -15 seconds at present.

Ive got better i promise that was a few weeks back i keep getting told off at puppy class for saying his name :( bad mummy i need to go to scool more often :) he has got really good at recall but im sure half the time he does what ever Jake is doing :) Yep hubby is foreigner (sp) just like you far too many in the world lol
