I'm hoping that you can help me with something... I work for a big global corporate company, and we've recently been sent a young (19yo) girl for a 6 month placement.
The poor lass has had to leave her horse with friends and family, and move from Geneva, Switzerland to Thirsk, North Yorkshire. She's currently staying in a hotel, but that should change next week when they find her a flat in York.
I'm hoping that we can find her a horse to ride or something for the time that she's staying here, just to try to help her feel a bit more at home.
Her English is poor-moderate, but working with us lot she's improving quickly. from what i understand she's done a bit of everything, so plodding round on an organised trek or riding school lessons isn't quite up her street, but she'd quite like to be hacking out or schooling, and is happy to help with a share of chores as a thank you.
