My boy is now back in full work after removal of a spinal protrusion (not kissing spines but similar in terms of rehab)
He has made ex progress and is working well...Dr Svend Kold did the op and has advised absoulutely no arthritic change has been found and that I should just get on with suppling/schooling and once a week Pessoa work.
Have recently changed areas and need a back massage type of practitioner to loosen up horse in addition to his ridden and lunge programme......dont think we need a physio, just a very good chiro?/Osteopath? Suggestions really gratefully received.......Thanks.

Gill maybury all the way!

She covers kent but lives in and covers sussex as well i believe. She a fully quailfied chiro and does manipulation and laser treatment/electric paddles etc.

She is also a quailfied inst and a former badminton rider so has tons of experience with horses of all kinds.

I'd recommend Liz Oakenfold. She is based somewhere around the Ashdown Forest kind of way I believe. My horse was all out and messed up after a kick in the field. His pelvis was out and he had loaded all his weight unevenly. A session with Liz sorted him out and he was like a totally new horse
