My back is getting better and I will be in the saddle very soon for sure - so thanks to all of you who said dont sell!! Anyway nancy came in today, my neice hacked out in the sun, she came back and had a really good groom and a sponge down. She was really loving and after 5 months of owning her I now really trust her. So...we need another horse, so I can hack with my neice. There is one at the yard for sale, a chestnut gelding, 16.1, very underweight TB/Irish sports, 11, but really good looking. Anyway we watched him being ridden today and he is really forward, and my heart sank as he will be more of a competition horse rather than a 'happy hack' wihich my neice wants to have fun on. I would have loved piling the food and love into him and see the transformation, but its not to be, I was really disaapointed, so our search goes on....
