A good day xc schooling at new venue - Little Manor (pic overload)

We took the plunge yesterday and headed off to Little Manor near Reigate for some xc schooling. It was a long drive and we were worried that when we got there we would either not be up to the jumps or yet again disappointed with the facilities on offer (getting used to finding broken jumps, bad ground etc ). It was fab! Its a great place and we'll be going back again. Next time we'll try their huge sj arena or maybe take a wander up their gallops

Anyway, Alfie has his first Riding Club ODE this Sunday at Ardingly and we think he'll be up to it - here are some pics of our day out

I can't wait until I can go cross-country schooling with my young man but he is still only a baby so will have to wait a while yet.

I was taking the pics . He is lovely, 17.1hh 7 yr old who although was home bred, we've only had at home since last June, up until then he was racing. The lady riding works for me, she's only about 5ft 4 I think so I guess he looks bigger. They make a great team
