A Good Deal?

Currently on full livery @£100 a week cause im a bit lazy

Asked yard owner bout DIY and athough no one on DIY said i could for £80 a week to include shavings, haylege, use of horsewalker, feed, flood lit school, washroom with hot water, yard washing machine, reasonable grazing and all stables have rubber matting. i only live one mile away and tend to cycle/walk to yard. so in other words knocking £20 off for labour lol. Current livery does not include, exercising or tack cleaning.

to be honest i'd say its a bit of a rip off at my livery yard its only 35 a week and the only thing you have to pay extra for is the use of the xc and the show jumps in that sort of price range its like part or part plus 5 really

Not really enough of a discount tbh, if you'd have to do your horse twice a day every day of the week

Do they do a part livery option at the yard, if so how much is that? £80 is a lot for d.i.y but then you are getting a lot with it. but i agree that sounds like part livery.

I should say its a lot I pay £28 for diy

Sounds like they are trying to discourage you from moving your horse from full livery. Saving £20 pw really isn't worth the extra work you will have to do IMO
