I have just returned from two weeks in the Gambia and came back to...................a £350 vet bill

Poor old Monty is in the wars again. He has a cold

He's bright and eating etc and hasn't lost weight. He's just has sore swollen eyes, is very snotty and feeling sorry for himself. Poor boy is sneezing so much his nose is constanty bleeding.

The vet doesn't seem too concerned and he seems to be getting better.

Horses eh........who'd ave em??!!

Anyhoo, feel free to fill me in on any of the major goings on with HHO! Hopefully there is some juicy gossip to cheer me up with my post-holiday blues!

Well £100 was for the jabs I had done before I left............and the other £250 was for one visit!!!

It's all a bit annoying since my mum (non-horsey but sensible) was sharing the responsibility with a friend of mine at the field. Said friend can be a total drama queen!

Monty had a small nosebleed (he often does in the summer since he is quite allergic). She called my mum but by the time she got there the emergency vet had been called......on a Sunday afternoon. The call out was £130

It's fine since I always say, if you're worried call the vet and I'll pay but I do kinda wish she had waited until Monday since then it would have been considerably cheaper.
