Happy happy happy.

Louis' suspensories are fixed, phsyio said he is a different horse and he is a happy chappy. Just need to get saddler back out as i think saddle is a bit tight.

Took him on a hack today with 2 other naughty/flighty/spooky horses, and he put them to shame! he was sooo well behaved and we cantered up hills, rode along narrow paths along rivers and along busy roads. For a 4 years old who hasnt been out properly in 2 months that isnt bad!

So he has another sloooow week, then off to Mary King's for a week, then once i'm back he is starting his slow fitness regime :)

Very happy as i thought id have to turn him away and claim loss of use! But vet amazed at how well steroids have worked and says to just crack on :D

But...he came in with a swollen eye tonight so no doubt been pratting around in the field

That's brilliant! I'm so pleased for you.

I'm happy today too. Its been a year since my arab's keratoma removal operation, he's fit and well and we spent today having a top time whizzing around Somerford farm ride. I feel like my overdue good luck has arrived. :)

Good news, but should you be cantering him along banks etc with no doubt soft ground and not been in work for 2 months and just got over suspensory problems, wouldnt want to get injured again. Just my sensible side showing so do not be offended.
