I thought I would post a little update after our yard move, a positive post to make a change after all the moaning about my old yard!
We have been at our new place now for just over a week, we moved in last friday. All I can say is, how nice is it being on your own!?!? I can do things when I like, I can do what I like, and I can do things I couldn't do before, like poo picking (maybe thats not a great positive
) because no one else did it. I am loving it, and am spending hours down there doing bits and bobs, whereas before I would be in and out as quickly as I could, I hated being there! Even my OH likes going down to help with things that need doing, and that is a first!!
We have loads of things that still need doing, like clearing away some rubbish, and building a store next to the two stables....atm one stable is the store, which is fine but once the weather starts turning I will need it really. Tonight my OH and our neighbour are felting the roof that they repaired (well, re-built), so very excited about that and will post some pics of them finished tomorrow!! I also need to sort out some kind of hardstanding in front of the stables, as atm its just grass. Also need to connect up a pipe to the water supply to run to the stables so I can have a tap next to them which will make life easier.
But despite a huge list of things to do, and it getting nearer and nearer to winter, I am thoroughly enjoying it all!!
