Don't rub it in, I'm desperate for a second and she would adore him. He's the exact type and colour I like, too.
OH is adamant that we're having a smaller dog for the second and is almost sold on a shiba, though I reckon if we're having another dog that can't be let off the lead we may as well get a bloody sibe.

Did you ever hear back from that knob with the girl Dax came from that was trying to offload her again?

Nope, he ignored the email and voicemail I left and the ad disappeared a few days later. There's a lot of people on the husky forum from that area and she hasn't cropped up so god knows where she ended up.
It was probably for the best though as Dax very much prefers dogs to bitches, we went for a walk with Lola the skinny husky (now Lola the fat husky) and her new owner a few weeks ago and they had a few good spats just in the space of an hour.
We're just waiting on finding a more suitable property, I could squeeze in a shiba here but definitely not a GSD or sibe and really we need a nice big garden. Our good friends are picking up their GSD pup in a few months time and I intend to use cute floofy pup as a catalyst to persuade my OH to get us moved a bit quicker.
