A hello from Essex

I am a stones throw from you then! I moved here about 2 years ago, horse came too!

Where do you stable your horse?

Yes i know where Rawreth is! Is it any good for the experinced rider?

Also loving the sound of an Ingatestone meet-up just to tease myself with the things i could buy my new horsey! I also work shifts of 1 weekend on and 1 weekend off but wont know which weekend i am working until i start the new job on 7th but will let you guys know! I can also pick anyone up in Benfleet to Ingatestone area as i drive?!
I dont mind helping you set it up huni!
I believe we should have a way of identifing eachother because the last meet-up i went to on another forum i ended up alone cause didnt know who i was looking for lol

hello from North Essex, Coggeshall to be exact!
Although originally from the Southend area, used to be stabled at Jotmans and I know Lorraine who runs Rawreth Equestrian!
Small world.
Ingatestone sounds good, taking daughter there tomorrow to meet Katie Price!

In used to be stabled on Jotmans, how long ago was you stabled there?

well when i had my own horse stabled there it was longer ago than that!
But the 1st horse my mum had there was called Bella (i was a baby so about 16years ago now)
then a horse called Sweep there (i was about 8 so about 11 years ago)
then we had CJ there for short time (i was about 13 so 6 years ago)

But after that i loan a horse called Honey (stacey's horse) last year sometime!

The best idea is to just set a date and whom cant come will have to come along to next one (without sounding nasty) because it hard to please everyone im afraid!
So if people could put dates up of what day they can make it and maybe we can put up some sort of poll out of the dates most people can make it to?

I'm free most weekends, have to do quite a bit of overtime but because I can work from home I can do it in the middle of the night if I wanted to lol.
I'm liking the sound of ingatestone, will have to be good as I'm saving up for a horse.
If anyone wants a night out I've got a 50% voucher for back inn time in Chelmsford, the food is really yummy and they do excellent cocktails.
Would be great to do a meet up! :)

Sorry guys, i've been at work!

Perhaps we should do a 'dates' post, that way everyone can tick a date and the date with the most intrest we will go with...... plan?

Rachel_91, do you want to do that as I am working tonnes this week.

Just HAD to read and add to this thread as I was brought up in Benfleet...many moons ago...we lived in Hill Road. My Mum used to pick me up with my pony from school (Benfleet Primary) so I could ride him home. When I was older I often went shopping by pony along the High Street. Jotmans was owned by my friend Georgina's family, it was a dairy farm.

Happy days!

Another hello from Essex - the Basildon area.
I am currently horseless having to have sold my horse due to no longer being able to afford him :(
I used to have lessons at Rawreth many years ago lol!!
