Can I recommend a book to anyone who loves horses and adventure?

It's called Led By The Grey and tells the story of a teenager who can talk to horses in their own way. He can also see the spirits of dead horse before they pass over to the next plane of existence. They appear as miniature horses and can fly.

He has been born with these special gifts, but of course, the adults in his life don't believe him.

It's a wonderful mix of fact and fantasy and grips the reader from start to finish. The main action takes place in central London with some of the Household Cavalry's horses as leading players.

The hero has another gift that he's less keen to practice, but which explains why wild fowl disappear as quickly as possible when he come near. This second gift helps him save the day and stops a terrible event taking place.

It's a wonderfully gripping story, with a series of highs and lows, triumphs and setbacks. It will have you laughing out loud one moment and in tears the next.

Enjoy. :)

Oh... I read that last year when if first came out. Lovely book. Best part for me was all the hosre/technical stuff seemed to be correct. I think the bloke who wrote it actually must be a real horseman!

That's why he can write with such knowledge about the Household Cavalry life as well as the horses. Makes a great present for folks who like a good read AND horses although the two together aren't necessary - good adventure as well - edge of seat stuff!

All the hardback proceeds go to charity as well.
