Apart from anything else, just how straight are those hind legs

I am a Lego builder. But Architecture only. I started during lock down and collected Lloyd Wright buildings. I buy incomplete sets on e bay and then buy any missing pieces. I normally build Lego only in winter - November onwards - but I have become bored and frustrated by the massive Eiffel Tower. It is still only three quarters built now. However, I have just bought a dustbin lorry (Lego Technic) because I love toys and it is just like the one that comes to our door.
I didnt like the horse though I am attracted by the dinosaur.
My favourite build was the roller coaster and I am looking forward to building the loop the loop roller coaster when I have finally managed to complete the Eiffel tower.
The most difficult build was a large mobile crane 42009 which I bought from Oxfam on line. It was then rebuilt by a highly trained builder friend and he used all the right cogs and gear wheels to get the crane working.

@Tiddlypom thanks for the link to the LEGO website - I've just spent almost an hour looking at all the amazing kits! I love the botanical kits after my sister gave me the blossom kit - I'm very much a LEGO novice, but I'm going to try some more kits now!

For those starting out on Lego, I will post some info here.
Sets can be much cheaper 2nd hand and even cheaper if without the box or printed instructions.
All Lego instructions can be downloaded as a pdf file from the Lego website
I bought much of my Lego on e-bay. I sold my Lego Rivendell on e-bay too.

But for price guides, replacement parts both new and used etc there is a searchable website called Bricklink. I am unsure of how the site started but the site was eventually taken over by the Lego company which caused some people much worry.

Replacement bricks can be sourced on Bricklink but can also be ordered direct from Lego. Each brick has a specific part number.

Lego do not make war toys but I am a historian with a particular interest in the Eastern front and the Russian tank T34 which was used in conjunction with cavalry, and there is a Polish company which makes a Lego type model.
