I wasnt too sure what forum to put this in however, I have applied for a job to be a working pupil and they have sent me an email back asking for my CV but what sort of thing do I say to impress them?!?

Set it out like you would a normal CV, and when you list your previous jobs, go into detail about what your role was, your responsibilities and skills you gained. Sell yourself, and don't be afraid to tell them what special skills you have that you will be bringing to their yard. Even if its not a horsey job, you can put a few lines about time management, people skills, organisation and all that jazz, and you could talk about how you will transfer these skills over to the job you are applying for.
I've recently been filling in job applications and updating my cv (not horsey, for the NHS), and at interview - which subsequently landed me my new job :D - they said that in my application they particularly liked that I said not just what I HAVE done, and what I CAN do, but also what I plan on doing in the future and how I intend to achieve it. Obviously the NHS are mad for 'ongoing professional development', but it might be worth talking about where you see yourself in the future, and that you are ready and willing to learn new knowledge and skills along the way blah blah blah :p :D
(At school they taught us to make your application stand out, and a good way to do that was to either start or end your personal statement with an emotive and relevant quote. I've never been brave enough though, and can never find a quote that's just right!) x

Thats awesome thank you!

Im 15 so I dont really have any job experience accept that I work in a pub being a waitress- should I just say stuff about that and my 'horsey life'?? .... and school!

You need to put a positive spin on things you have learned/gained from your waitressing job - it doesn't matter that its not horsey, as long as you can talk about your 'transferrable skills' that you could bring to the working pupil position. So... You have good communication skills, you have a good working relationship with your collegues and work well within a team but also work well alone and can use your own initiative. You should perhaps talk about having good literacy/numeracy/IT/problem-solving/organisational skills too.
Are you/were you in the Pony Club? Any volunteer work outside of school? Any teams or clubs you are a member of? Definitely talk about your 'horsey life'!
If they know you are in school then they won't be expecting reams of work experience, but are probably looking for evidence of a well rounded person who will work well, is committed and willing to learn. If you look at the job description (if its an advertised job), or have a think about the role of a working pupil then you can tailor your cv around that :)
Best of luck! x
