A horsey motto to live 2008 by

Mine is, "must sit up on landing".

Any of you have a motto to sum up your aims for 2008?

I didn't make the most of last year - didn't get out and about much with Brooklyn - he's been lame now for the last couple of months and I'm determined that when he does finally come sound and fit, I'm going to make sure we have lots of fun.

Of course, we all know Patches - human and equine - can cope going up the steps, but down them.....whole different ball game!

I'm sure....although Shetlands are fellow agents of the Devil....pure condensed evil. As someone said, the shorter they are, the closer to Hell....

I know of one large equine college where the lecturers taught this as fact.

Hadn't jumped for 5 years when I started again in the autumn. My goal for the end of the year is to be going over 3' again.

D is a typical cob when we are schooling and will happily mooch along in a respectable manner unless you actually ask her to work properly. When you remind her what she is capable of its like riding a different horse
