A how much (but weight not £s!)??

Cause of course I wouldn't be selling either of my lovely ladies

We don't have a weigh bridge anywhere near us, so I can't tell for sure, but how much do you think my girls would weigh?

Star - 16.2, ISH x Han. She's quite a solid girl (looking even more so with her winter coated legs here, she's not quite that "heavy"

)

And Be - 16hh Belgium WB, who is seems quite "small" to me (not got a very good pic for this)

What do you think they each weigh?

Get yourself a weight tape, a good bit more accurate than judging from photos.

A complete guess - 540kg for the first horse, 500kg or under for the second.....

Have a look at this website, it gives 3 ways of weighing your horse, weighbridge, weight tape & a formula. This is the only way to judge the weight correctly.....it can't be done from a photograph.

I would condition score them if i was you, it gives a far better indication of a horses health and weight in comparrison to knowing how much they weigh. http://www.saracen-horse-feeds.co.uk/feedcheck/condition_scoring/

i'd go with a tape if u can't get them on a weighbridge.

I didn't think anyone would actually know their exact weight from photos

I was just asking for rough opinions to see how they'd compare with my estimates.

I think Star is roughly 600kg and Be roughly 550kg. Let us know once you've weigh taped them so can see how accurate we are!
