Yearling filly, tb x WB. Lovely movement, very nice head. Shown well last year, always in the ribbons. Well handled, good with farrier, loads well etc. Pictures don't do her justice!

Currently at 14.1hh, to make 16.2hh

Dam - dutch WB by Karosso out of Heloise (damsire Naturel)
Sire - Makanaky -Danish WB x TB by Mago out of Tarifa (damsire May Sherif)

Thanks!

I'm hopeless on youngstock prices as I tend to go all gooey over the cutesy baby horsey but if it's a help, 5-6K ish? I don't know enough about the breeding on her dam's side to be more specific - obviously if the WB breeding is good then you might be able to get more as people will pay for potential, espeically with a dressage baby. She does look very lovely!

I find it really difficult to put numbers on youngsters.

If she were very, very correct and special - and had been winning at county level then possibly quite a bit.

But I have to say that whilst she is lovely, she doesn't (to me) have a real wow factor. Mum is very nice - don't know anything about the sire. So I would hesitatingly say around £3-4k perhaps, but I think that may be a tad high.....

hmm I find it hard also. I was sort of thinking £3k absolute maximum tbh.

She isn't world beating and I didn't breed her as such (or I would have chosen a bigger 'name' as a stallion). It is a shame I have nothing that shows her movement because that IS lovely. She will be going to BEF Futurity this year as I want to get some professional comment on her.

Mare has Lucky Boy & Nearco in her pedigree - is actually a jumper (ex Grade A) - stallion is an eventer but with dressage lines (wanted a bit more blood). His sire was a racehorse that eventually did Grand Prix

but I chose him because he complemented the mare very very well.

I think that would certainly price her to sell.

I would think you are spot on at £3k if you want to sell her. BTW her mum is absolutely gorgeous - a beautiful kind face and lovely big ears - I really like her alot

ah - thanks for all your nice comments folks.

The mare is an absolute star, and the first ever horse I purchased myself years ago.

Looks like 3.5k might be about right then
