A how much for a saddle!!!Help please

Cos I am sooooooo crap at pricing things! Saddle concerned is a pony 15 1/2/16 inch med-wide English leather saddle,has a plate on it which say by Equestrian something or other,Walsall(walsell ,can't remember)People on yard may be interested in it but haven't a clue how much to ask.
Its in good nick and really nice quality leather.Just said to OH you wouldn't think it hasdn't been cleaned/oiled/used in a yr or two.Is my daughters ponys saddle but she uses her horses one on it which pony likes better.

hmmm without knowing the specific details about the make etc i would be tempted to make a trip to your local saddlers and asking what they would take for it. They will always offer you a lot less than what the saddle is worth as they want to make a profit but at least it would give you a clue as to a minimum price?
 
I agree, take it to a saddler and they may well value it for you. Most saddlers sell saddles on behalf of other people and take a commission so they will know the sort of price to ask.
 
Our local saddlery has stopped taking in second hand goods,think it was a bit of a nightmare for them to be honest.
Will try and find out proper make tonight.
