This is a how much with a little twist. Ok I have two horses, my TB mare who I started to do endurance with until three weeks ago damaged her tendon, which I am absolutely devastated about as she was doing brilliantly, now she is basically retired as she is sixteen anyway.
I brought this little Appaloosa filly only three months ago to keep and break in, the idea was she would be my future horse when the mare retired, that was meant to be three to four years away. Now basically Im horseless, and am looking for a new one. I could have three financially but it is a tad greedy to, so it looks like I'll have to sell my be-loved foal, on the pics she is six months old, though she is now nine and her spots are a lot more pronounced and shes lost most of her foal coat. Shes by the stallion Geronimo, stands at 13hh now and should make 15-15.2 maybe bigger. She leads, trots up, loves being handled, picks her feet up for you to pick them out, ties up better than a lot of older horses and moves beautifully. You can be honest peeps, I can take it!!!!!!

Hi, I paid £1400 for her, when she was five months old, she has come on in the sense that she was pretty unhandled when I brought her, shy about grooming, did not pick feet up, a little bossy. The photos are not recent though she looks so much more prettier now and of course bigger, her markings have really come out, started spotting on her neck as well as the blanket on her body. Spots on her neck are chocolate. Really wish I could keep her. LOL

Why cant you?
Chuck her out in a field with a herd for a couple of years, let her grow up and shel be perfect by the time you need her.
A back up horse is never a bad option.
Helping? no i didnt think so.

Aw, so sad that you have to sell, she's a stunner! Appy's can sell for quite a bit of money, I think, but I don't really know the lines, Geronimo's good, isn't he?

Perhaps you could wait until you've got your new horse to sell her? That way she may have matured a bit, and would be worth more

No, it does help, I have my own field, so keeping hers not a problem, I think I will try and keep her, I believe she will fetch good money when shes four. Its hard to sell a foal, you feel bad because they are just babies.
