A Huge kindness from Mr Woof!

Just wanted to say that, whilst I can see that Mr Woof has ruffled a few feathers, she is, in reality, enormously kind. She is sending me an old hunt coat which belonged to her mother and appears to be the right size for me. She is doing this as a gift in order that the coat continues to be used and she has asked nothing in return. I do think that this is an enormously generous thing to do and wanted to thank her publcily. Thank you Mr Woof - this will be cherished for many years to come!

That is nice. My daughter went out today in a hunt coat her Godmother gave her. It is at least 50 years old and has done many many seasons. It is cut beautifully and very warm.

How wonderful of her! I recently gave my very first ratcatcher, bought for me by my parents when I was 15, to a good friend for the same reasons - couldn't bear to just sell it, wanted it to go to a good home.

I think you will enjoy the coat even more for where it came from too how fab!

That was a nice thing to do Skewby. I'm hoping that, everntually, this coat and my old one will be passed down to my nieces.
