Dear Patch,

Everybody down here is missing you more and more as each day passes by. I keep imagining I'll see you again, with your favourite toy. Tiger (his girlfriend) and Bruno (his enemy) are doing very well without you here. Tiger comforted me through all of those sad tears :(

I miss seeing you run and play but I'm now happy you're not in pain anymore, trying to stop the tears just keeps bringing more and more.. I hope you're having fun over rainbow bridge and playing with all the other animals up there too, as each one of them is also dearly missed by somebody down here.

I'll see you again one day Patch, where we can play for eternity. So don't wait up at the gates like you used to at the door when i left the house.. I'll come and find you when I'm ready.

Oh god, tears in work. I talk to my Babs often, in fact he came to the yard with me last night cause it was dark (in my heart I mean).

So sorry for the tears :(

I think about him every day and with that comes tears where ever I am lol. People look at me as if to say "what on earth are you crying about?!" when I start in the middle of tescos!!!

It's been 3 weeks tomorrow so not very long, but everything that happened is still so raw inside.

I just hope he can hear me when I talk to him :(
 
Doh PF that didn't help!! I have lost my Dad, my beloved old horse and my adored Matty dog this year. Am having a teary day today as I think I may have to say goodbye to Gaby cat tomorrow,
Hurts don't it. :(
 
It's still such early days for you PF. I see so much of my lost boys in my currant dogs which is lovely in some ways but even one and two years after losing them, I feel so guilty that they're not here and my two are having fun with me.

We just have to make the most of our time with them, however short it may be - and remember them with love once no longer here :) x
 
Dear Paddy,

We said our final goodbyes on thursday. You were 16 and you'd been struggling for awhile. I know you didnt want to leave, you kept right on trying, just for us. I had to make the decision for you, i just hope you will forgive me for that. I just wanted you to be out of your pain, i knew you didnt understand why you couldnt run and play ball.
You had such a good morning on your last day with us. You had a massive breakfast (and polished it off!), you were brushed till our arms ached. You got a final walk in the snow, and of course you went into all the deepest parts. You even scoffed a kitkat.
You didnt even worry when the vet arrived. You simply stood wagging your long tail sniffing at her. She was quick, for that i'll ever be gratefull. You were gone before she had even finished injecting. I saw the light leave your gorgeous brown eyes. I hated myself for not being able to fix you, for not being able to keep you with us.
Tonight we get to have you back, your ashes are ready, and from tonight on, you will never have to leave us again.

Oh Mattilda, I am so sorry :( and here's me only talking about one pet :( I hope Gaby cat will be ok?? I'm sending as many healing vibes as I can xx

Thank you for your kind words, it's really hard when you miss that special someone so much, words can't describe it.

Also r04, what a lovely letter! I am sure Paddy forgives you as you did what was right for him. He'll be running and playing with my special boy too in the clouds and the stars xxx
