Having spoken to my lovely vet after she had her jaw wired it would seem things are not quite straightforward. No surprise there then hey? The infection in her jaw has actually destroyed most of the bone on the right side so her jaw still skews to that side. He has wired the front to make it more stable and we are now battling the remaining infection. She currently still has an open infection in her mouth and is on antibiotics and more antibiotics.
She has a amazing ability to hide tablets in her mouth, eat a whole bowl of chicken and then spit it out when I''m not looking!!
She is currently being a pampered kitty who's every whim is catered for by moi. :)
I think we are winning but back at vets Thursday so will know more then hopefully.

Sorry to hear her problems are ongoing! If it's any consollation Maggie had a head on collision with a car when she was about 2, ended up with wires all over her jaw, but at 15 she is still going strong and hunting everything within sight. Loads of (((vibes)))) for a good recovery!

Aw poor Gaby, loads of vibes that she keeps doing well. Having tried and failed to worm one of our cats last week I can sympathise with the tablet giving, how on earth can they keep them in their mouths so long.
