For those of you who may remember, I acquired a little grey ex-racehorse who we call Wanda at the beginnning of the summer.

She was turned away for a month or two at grass while I tried and failed to move house and then came to a lovely yard near my work in Oxford.

At first she was under the mistaken impression that it was necessary to be the fastest pony on the yard at all times...

And ridden, she was basically a little green baby although always incredibly willing.

Today I popped down to the yard and was so impressed with how much she has come on - she is lovely, willing and forward and doing so well.

Cannot wait to see her get started jumping soon! :) It's been a real revelation to me how well a horse can progress in the right environment and Wanda-filly has just settled into the routine and is going so well, really glad I took the punt on her :)

Basically Newmarket! This was one though that quite a few people told me not to miss so sort of Newmarket word of mouth!
