A little RANT!!

Not sure i am allowed to use company name on here but lets just say a very popular, quite pricey make of equestrian fashionable boots (they are not riding boots so to speak!!) I brought said boots a little over a year ago and absolutely love them but the sole started coming away from the boot so took them back at Burghley and they said they would assess them and then re-pair them or replace if they thought necessary. Two weeks went by and heard nothing so rang, they said they had been very busy and hadn't had time to look at them but would contact me the following day with a decision, i heard nothing. Rang back, told once again that i would be contacted asap with a decision....another week goes by. Ring again get put on hold for over 20mins before deciding to hang up!!!!

Decided to leave it a few days, rang up last wednesday only to discover they have lost my boots!! So all along they have been fobbing me off! I told them they would have to re-place them and they said they would keep looking for them - suprise suprise i have heard nothing since!!!

It makes me so cross as they are far from cheap boots and now winter is coming i need them more than ever!!! Arghhh so frustrating, imagine i will spend next week chasing them up again!!
 
They are too expensive to be upst about!!!!

I have found them very good, but if you ar now not happy, I will ring them ( had 15 yrs in CS) or will just get stroppy.

Either way you will get your money back

I will be ringing them again first thing monday morning - or will possibly get my dad to do it as he can be rather scary!! :D I love the boots but just think the customer service is rather cr*p!!!
 
If they've lost them, then they should give you your money back.

I had this many many years ago with a pair of Hobbs shoes which stretched to the point they became like flippers, a bit of argy when I took them back to the shop who wouldn't give me my money back, they sent them on to head office who lost them, I got a cheque... All worked out very well in the end as far as I was concerned
