i have cut my feed a tiny bit.. not alot though
i lunged her yesterday for about 30 minutes and with side reins on (loosely) towards the end; very good... just walk and trot though... looking into getting a pessoa

i then turned her out, brought her in later and hacked her out.
we had a few trots
two tantrums

and then a major tantrum on the way home... she was walking sideways into the hedge.. so i slapped her on that shoulder, bringing on another tantrum of bouncing about like a prat sideways on the way to the road

luckily i was feeling brave and just sat tight and just kicked for all i was worth. she soon chilled out and then marched the rest of the way home. (out for about an hour) i got home and took her in the school on her own and trotted and cantered around for about 20 minutes... she was very well behaved; head carriage not perfect but i was in control

took her in the school again today and had a bit of a battle at the start; but i spoke to myself and she gave in, i didnt... then got a nice walk and trot out of her.
attempted catner but i tensed up and she did the whole bouncing stupidly. so i didnt attempt it again; i kept in trot...

hopefully will be ok :-)

i would cut the feed more. she seriously doesnt need it. she will be fine with a constant suply of hay and a bit of speedibeat, a conditioning mix/cube and a handful of chaff. shes only little and she obviously is getting too much energy on the amount shes on. just keep going

ive cut the chaff with the sugar in
and i cut the nuts a little bit tonight... but they were only high fibre anyway

ive gritted my teeth and got on with it...

Hvae you tried Fast Fibre (if she's fussy but thin) because that works well on fizzy horses but gives them all the crap they need... Tbh, what you feed would be enough for my horse and he's twice W's size. Good luck with her- you looked so good together at the ODE last year, hope you get that back soon.

what she has has been told to us by baileys nutritionist... we can go up to 6 mugs of pony nuts if needed

we changed the chaff from hifi to the stuff shes on because hifi makes her lactate because it has alfalfa in.

she also told us to put her on unmollased sugarbeet during the winter

thank you NS
i hope to be back there soon too....
