Just thought I'd post an update on my boys for anyone intrested.
Horrid is continuing to be a good boy out hacking. We haven't fallen in anymore bogs or had another fight with a wild pony *touch wood* He never naps and we even have afew canters and he seems to be enjoying himself now. Hopefuly the days of batteling to get him to move are behind us now.
He is an absolute delight to lunge. He walks, trots and canters when asked and we get a full 20mins of work . I've started riding him in the school abit more now as his schooling leaves alot to be desired 
He's not as bad as he could be but he is very lazy. Yesterday he did try to buck me off when I asked him to trot. 
He didn't want to go and thought I would give in if he was naughty but I just laughed at him After bucking an entire length of the school he gave up and reluctantly trotted round the school. 
(Don't tell him but soon i'm gonna start riding him in spurs. Hopefuly that will get him going forwards and he won't throw all his toys out the pram and put me on the floor )
Merryn is sound again. I've been riding him in the school since Mon and today I took him for a walk in the forest then had a trot in the school. Hopefuly he will be ok at the weekend and the kids will finaly get to ride him. He had his feet trimmed the otherday and he was very naughty. He reared up and kicked me in the hand with his front foot. We now need to do lots of work picking his feet up so he is good for the farrior next time. I was feeling very pleased with myself Having finaly got something without behavuoral issues and then he went and did that. Oh well keeps life intresting I supose. Guess all those who said I would find a well behaved pony boring where right 
He is also looking much better weight wise already. He has a new nickname of slimfast. I put the weight tape on him when he arrived and he was 469kg today after just two weeks I weighed him again and he's now 423kg I've backed off his diet alittle now and he gets to go out all day wearing his muzzle ofcourse. Although he has a pink one at the mo

) It's his own fault. On Tues he broke his on the fence and I had to rush to the tack shop to buy a replacement. The only one they had in his size was pink and he needs it so I had to get that one. I just hope it's embarrest him enough so he doesn't break another one. Sadly I don't think it will.
