Difficult to sat without piccies, but, probablt around the 6K mark, only thing is lorries really do not seem to be selling at the mo, and there seems to be a lot of really decent lorries coming on the market for a lot less than normal. I only know this as i would love to upgrade mine and keep looking at what is up for sale!

Nice looking lorry though - i could be seriously tempted. Only prob is that hubby doesn't yet know that i want to upgrade.....oops!!!!!

am only curious as i sold a G reg leyland daf 45/130 last year with a years plate last year for 5k..it had a 2.5T payload which is within limit, just, to carry 3 on.

as Mercs are a heavy chassis, much heavier than Daf, and yours having lockers/larger living etc...i'm wondering what it'll carry?

How heavy are VW 'S ?

I would agree to advertise at £5k and be prepared to drop to £4.5k.

I've just sold my H reg Iveco 10.5T with living for £5k. It was plated (MOT) till May 09 and taxed Feb 09 (that will make a difference to price, especially the MOT)

Weight will be an issue. The type of questions I was asked were:

Width and height of horse area
Mileage
Payload - you need to know this as it will make a difference as to how many horses it can carry. If similar to mine and yours is a 7.5T you'll struggle to get 2 horses, tack, water, food, humans etc within the weight limit.
I would also have a load of extra photos to send to people.

VW/MAN are one of the lightest....

i have a MAN 2000 W reg...it is far lighter than most makes chassis wise except a daf LF...

It may well come in with quite a good payload..so VERY saleable.

I would say advertise for £6k if you can get at least 9 months MOT and find out the unladen weight! My B reg bedford, smart looking for its age, alloy box, with low mileage, very few previous owners, loads of history, smart living, fairly new floor, several new tyres, one person ramp, and mechanically very sound will be for sale with 12 months plate in a month or so's time, and if I have to advertise will be advertised at £5k ono (hopefully got someone interested already!). Bluebell will only take 2 decent sized horses payload wise, if yours will def take 3 that might bump price up to maybe advertise £6.5k?
