A lot to deal with in one schooling session!

George was expected to put up with rather a lot this afternoon when I schooled him, firstly I arrived just before his tea time so he had to wait for that :( then I got on and went to the outdoor school and it started raining hard and the wind was pretty gusty :( But I decided to carry on, how bad could it be??! So then someone in the woods close by was shooting and it was pretty loud and kept making me jump and then to top it all off we had a load of hailstones and thunder and lightening :eek:

George............he was an absolute saint and was a pleasure to ride, so maybe that's the answer :D

Here's to our wonderful horses :)

No No ... you have inspired us all - well me anyway. I was about to wimp out of riding today because its so windy, but if George was good in the wind then hey, me and my boy can do it as well.

(Goes off to get horse in and School it .....!)
 
Probably not the most relaxing schooling session!! What a good horsey he was!!You talking of shooting etc made me remember when I hacked my horse out once with a friend of mine. We were on the way back and a bird scarer went off close by. I shot 6ft out the saddle and the horse didn't even blink!! Friend was wetting herslf laughing!!
 
Oh what a star - that is a lot to cope with in one session!

George is absolutely my kind of horse, one in a million.

Daughter is having a lesson on her new young horse today, and its blowing a gale ..... fingers crossed, parachute and crash mat at the ready. :eek:
