Ali was quite "springy" himself as well!
I headed to the yard at about 7am, did all my usual yard chores and then headed off for a hack around the forestry with Ali. It was actually quite cold tbh... The first thing Ali had a major tantrum at was the sound of a spark from an electric fence in a field we passed by. He reared and spun around but fortunately I was prepared enough and after a bit of a fight he went past the field in the direction *I* wanted him to! Once in the forestry I went off for a good gallop up the track which he was loving, and also jumped a few random banks, logs, ditches etc. I hacked him out in a single-jointed snaffle today, and I actually had some sort of control, i.e managing to avoid crashing into trees in the forestry!
We arrived back at the yard at about 10 o'clock, not a particularly long hack but fairly enjoyable, bar Ali's tantrums!
I really love my new Stubben Siegfried CC saddle, it's so comfortable and I feel as if it puts me in a good position for jumping
The sun is now shining and I only turned out Ali in a LW today, Spring is finally here!
