A Marvellous Makeover (with pics) and Limes Farm Dressage Report

As we had late times I thought Danny could have a leg stretch in the field. Big mistake!!!!

He came in looking like this...

Lots of elbow grease later and transformed into this...

As I packed away the plaiting and grooming kits, OH appeared and casually asked if I wanted the lorry started and did I need a hand with anything?

So set off and arrived in good time, despite being very overcast and windy it stayed dry.

They were running late so by the time he went in he was a bit pooped, but did a nice test and finished 3rd.

Re-fuelled with two packets of polos he did a much better second test. We left before the end of the class as we had a long journey home and left a SAE. Scores were low all day so a little disapointed with his percentages but he was a really boy. He is never hot or silly and has another outing under his belt!

I really like this horse and keep looking at his advert

I don't know what it is about him, but there is just something that really catches my eye, and how gorgeous does he look all plaited up! You have done a great job getting him from mud monster to dressage diva

He is such a cutie, he is like a big bear - he really does just want to please.

He has a really kind eye and I think that's what people see. He really needs a new mummy love him and look after him - days like yesterday make me feel guilty as he was in his element being the centre of attention and just loved being pampered and fussed over.

I firmly believe he gets plastered so I have to spend the most amount of time grroming him which he loves

Rather you than me, I just hate mud!

Me too, but I have started spraying liberal amounts of silicon which means the mud slides of much easier and doesn't clump as badly.

It costs fortune but at least I am not eating or breathing grit when I groom our giraffes

Diva is sore after he fight with the B marker

she had the physio last week and she is coming back on Thursday.

Blitz has gone off to a clinic today and tomorrow - he has been really good. Have just booked some lessons with Emile so we are excited about that.

How's Archie? Maddie's due date is now the 28th March

Star had her makeover today and was clipped YAY, looks soo purdy, will get pics

Lovely warm-up but the indoor school is like blue barn's warm-up.
