I went on a pleasure ride with the York and Ainsty North hunt and had a fab time! Lots of big canter tracks and very well organised. It took me an hour to get there andwhen we had finished the ride my mare was quite pumped and thought the best thing to do was get her untacked and head home...
I couldnt get ANY gears on the horsebox! Cue horse kicking up a massive stink and me fearing her doing some serious damage. My friend who was travelling from a different yard held my mare whilst I called the recovery, but they were over an hour away. So the organisers got my girl a lift to there yard 5 miles away and are keeping her overnight and will bring her home tomorrow morning!
HOW AMAZING IS THAT!
I am so greatful that they were willing to help a perfect stranger, when the box was picked up by the tow, my OH came and we followed Julia to her yard to check on my girl who was settled in her stable.
I dont know what I would have done without them!! xxx
