I havent written anything about me and dizzy for a while and in a self indulgent way I want to share some pictures (very narcissistic) We moved yards nearly a month ago now and she has really struggled with settling going from my well mannered delight to be around mare to a bit of a tyrant!

She still doesn't load or hack on her own (all works in progress) and now comically refuses to go in her stable unless its the specific bringing in time! Riding has been hair raising but I am taking it good humour and pushing through! Lots of groundwork and slowly getting there!
She has been testing me in ways I never imagined but I still love her AND on a plus note she has stayed sound for 3 whole months (literally gripping a plank of wood as I type this)!
Our ridden work is gentle just working on rhythm in walk and trot for half an hour and we started hacking again this week (in company) and despite napping going back on to the yard :rolleyes3: she didn't put a foot wrong we even had a little canter the other evening up a hill in the woods! As soon as she has settled fully we are going to start tackling the loading and napping issues properly but for now I just want to enjoy her!
She continually shows me how smart she is bit but in premenstrual teenage girl stroppy kind of way and i am learning the virtue of patience and how to keep myself calm.
We have a long long road ahead of us and despite the tears shed in the past 10months of our rocky relationship I do believe she will be worth it :)

Yes it did :( I have struggled with a huge feeling of guilt over that! However the new yard is incredibly supportive (they built her an outdoor stable because she was so upset in the indoor block) and the facilities, turn out and support are exactly what I need for bringing on a baby as sensitive as her. Plus the road outside the yard is incredibly quiet plus we have access to ride around the fields. At our old place you had to go straight on to a main road before you could get to a bridle path and it shattered my confidence with her napping. The move is definitely for the best I just need to earn her trust back!
