Please dont forget if you change your Mobile Number or house Number or even your address PLEASE call the chip company and tell them.

We had a lovely Staffie cross brought in tonight as a stray we scanned it and thought yes its chipped!! Rang chip company for no etc and called them only for it to be an old number.

It's so frustrating when that happens

We ask for the practice chip code, that the chip was distributed, and can sometimes get new details from the practice, not always succesfull but has worked a few times.

We had to pay to have our details changed on ours - I think it was £15 in which case I can sometimes see why people don't do it, especially when you pay £30 to have one put in. We paid it because yellow dog means the world to me but others don't seem as fussed.

All ours are chipped and I paid for the extra service so that you can changed address / number as often as you like. Seeing as we do move a lot it was worthwhile. I think that they charge a ridiculous amount for changing details. You should be allowed to do it online for free.
