Not the first time, but saw a string of cattle like trucks full of horses on my way home, it's not a nice thought when you know where they are going.

I do know what you mean although never seen anything like it here. You just want to drive in front of the lorry and stop it, and get them to divert to 'your' place.... even if you don't have a 'place'!
Poor things, you do hope its quick and on the bright side, they are not alone in their journey.
