So yesterday may have been my first fall from Scooby, but today we won our first "number" rosette.
The riding school did a gymkhana day today, and I was roped in because there weren't enough people to make the teams. I thought I'd come last, because the others were all fearless kids on whizzy 12hh ponies (yes, I felt a bit silly, but ability-wise I certainly wasn't at an advantage) but Scooby was so much better at it than we expected, and we came a respectable 4th out of six.
So that's two rosettes we've won together now (not counting the sympathy rosette we were given yesterday
)... I'm sure there will be many more to come! I mean, look how well it suits him.... wouldn't red suit him even better?
