My pony came down with laminitis last month and a friend of mine had heard of this lady who makes up individual remedies for your horse based on various questions she asks you (for more complex cases she can come out and give a consultation at an extra costs). The remedy was sent out to me the next day with full instructions on how to give it and within 2 days my pony who could hardly walk was sound, the course which was tailored for my pony was only a four day course (although i am told this varies with each horse) with 10 days box rest then restricted grazing after that and touch wood 3 weeks later she is still sound. Totally amazing, if anyone has a horse/pony with laminitis and would like me to forward on her email let me know as I saved so much money in vets bills etc and stress to my pony. I am so glad I managed to get passed on this information so feel I should pass it on to others.

Echo the others - 10 days box rest would 'cure' all but the most severe laminitis cases! And is in fact exactly what you should do for lammie.

Agree..wouldn't see the need for any other intervention, and no matter what the 'cure' in any case other than the most minor heat in the feet I would probably at least give my vet a ring (if only to get some bute)
