I had been slightly moaning about how dry it had been (hard ground, no grass growing) and saying we need rain but what would be good would be rain at night and dry during the day.
I have been soaked through twice today and i mean through to my underwear :o (i did have a waterproof coat on but it failed with the extremely heavy rain) and the yard started flooding :( (was ok once i sorted the drain)

I know i am being a typical brit about the weather but anyone agree with me?

What would be great, is if the weather could just be spread out a bit.....a couple of rainy days then a couple of sunny ones is fine....

I havent got to the point where I am totally fed up (although I have been soaked more than once today), but I will be very shortly.....certainly if it is wet until November (which is what the weather man was alluding to this morning!).....then no doubt it will all freeze and that will be that....

I am hoping the grass will start growing again, have checked the forcast for my area and have more heavy rain to come this week

i can't print the message i want to give to the weatherman.
They are worse than incompetent in my opinion!

Cut hay at last on wednesday cos a week of dry weather forecast.
(been unable to do it earlier as kept forecasting rain that seldom came so have had virtually no grass for weeks and ground was bone dry)

Poured down for most of today!!! severe weather warning of heavy rain this afternoon!
How can they get it so wrong!!??!!

hay is soaked on the ground.

oh no I dont listen to the weather forcast as its always wrong,

I do pity those people who have to cut their fields etc that must be such a hard job to do in this day and age with the weather being all over the place,

and the poor horses dont know whether they are coming or going, turnouts on, turnout rugs off, fly rugs on, bring them in dry them off put turnout back on aaggghhh nighmtare

Easy its the met office your talking about... spend milions on a new computer and take on a load of graduates and hey presto!!!:D

We have had intermittent rain/sun for a long time down in Devon after a few weeks of very hot dry weather. The grass is better than it's been for years and the horses are far FAR too fat :(

I agree about the weather forecasts though, as my YO says " they can't forecast yesterdays ****** weather "
