Can i please have peoples opinions on this feed and how their horses reacted to it??

My mare (who isnt a veteran) is currently on the A+P Veteran vitality as I found it the perfect thing to get weight on her without sending her through the roof, although after speaking to a rep when i was in buying it she asked what age my horse was etc and how I found VV I told her it wasnt for a veteran but did great for my mare. My veteran I have to watch what he is eating due to cereal intolerancy :(

She said I would get the same results but maybe a bit more gain out of P+P for when we start competitng again.

I dont know whether to stay as I am as it is working, she has oodles of energy and looks well (albiet lacking muscle), or give it a try :)

What would you do :)

My horse has been on P & P for probably about a year now and it seems to suit him well. He is a good doer so was on Fast Fibre and oats but stopped eating fast fibre so switched to this.

My boy is on VV and he isn't a veteran but use it because of its ingredients :) He does really well on it, it is in my mind to try P&P if I feel he needs a bit more umph but at the moment I am working on, if it isn't broke don't fix!

Thank you :D

I have decided to stick with what I am using as shes not lacking anything, its just when you have reps (who you would think know better than you :)) telling you this one would be better it makes you think :)

Thanks for the opinions :D

Just swapped on to P+P. He was on Hacking Mix, but struggling with keeping weight off him so rep suggested the P+P as it will give him the energy without all the fatty starchy stuff.. Def looks less bloated after only 3 days so fingers crossed. xx

See I have the opposite I struggle for weight on my mare, shes a chronic weaver and just stresses the weight off herself :(

But If I ever need an energy boost I think I will look at this over a mix now :)
