I was just flicking throught some old photos and found a picture that totally illustratates the personalities of Magnus and Oliver.....

"I'm only little, I just want to be your friend" "bugger off"

Oli was a shire/percheron who when we sold him at 6 was 17.3..... he thought he was a pony and was a baby in the endearing sense! Mag is a grumpy old man who HATED oli to the point where he pinned him against a wall and kicked the crap out of him in front of us! He's lovely really but is the epitemy of grump old man.

Glad you like the name, his original name was Guinness (white on top, get it!) but when he came to Arlington we had a competition to rename him in a dickensian name and a steward won and called him Magnus, from Peter Magnus in The Pickwick Papers.

Oli was such a sweetie.... wish I knew what happened to him... last I heard it wasn't good...
