A pony how much?

My friend has the following but isnt sure where to price him in the current market - any ideas?

14.2hh 5yo chest geld, really talented fantastic jump. its hunted, and been out jumping few times, will be a serious jumping/pc pony
just needs a few miles on clock
not for a novice.

Im out of touch on ponies - it is quite flashy

Have a look on the Pony Club website maybe, to see what ones on there are going for.

It's hard to say with the lack of mileage, but if it's full up, flashy and scopey, but not done much, then £4k I'd have thought for a quick sale, £5k if she's not in a hurry. And if she could get some miles on its cv before she sells, that would bump the value up. Would it be worth trying to find a good jockey for a season, or does she need to sell it quickly?

I agree with Llewelyn that he would be worth more after he has some more experience under his belt (but then, wouldnt they all?!

) If it's a serious 148 prospect i'd think he was worth a bit more... but i know nothing about ponie tbh!!

She was thinking under 4k
I thought it was fair but not sure about what the market is doing.

I would say £4K and she'll sell quite easily. I think ponies are shifting now - half term next week.
