The (now rising 5 year old) went back under harness on 11th Jan after having the summer off, then coming back in under saddle in the autumn.
On Friday night we hired a local arena, to see how he went away from home- he's been there for a clicker clinic and a show in hand/under saddle so knows where he is. The canter was a trial to see that we could do it without bucking(!) so isn't pretty, and we'll be working on his trot work under harness for the near future anyway, and leave canter for later.

Then on Sunday we joined four other turnouts at West Park in Tow Law... It's a lovely arena!! He was tired here- end of the day, and he'd coped really well! Onward bound at the start, but in control and fitter than I thought he was
