NEVER BEEN BEFORE BUT ITS ON IN MARCH AND WANTING TO KNOW IF THE 3FT COURSE IS UP TO HEIGHT AND DOES IT HAVE ANY DITCHES OR TRAKHENERS??

The trakehner was in it last year but I think there was an optional route. I don't recall any ditches or certainly not big open ones. Probably up to height but not technically difficult or very scary. My horse won the 3ft class last year (not with me on board) so can't compete again this year :( It is optimum time so anybody's game really. Here are some pics of him on the course so you can see some of the jumps.

And that trakehner:

Golly, I rememeber that Trakhener! (sp!)
From distant memory, it was at the bottom of the hill, after the Ski Jump & we were fairly flying at it. My horse didn't see the ditch until we were mid air & he dropped his head as if to say "AAARGH - BIG HORSE EATING HOLE!!" - most peculiar sensation as his head disappeared from in front of me. Luckily we landed & were onto the next fence & went round in one piece!! - love Firle
