Bit of a random one.

What knickers do you find most comfy to ride in? Im trying to work on lots of balance, sitting trot work without stirrups etc and cant find any really comfy knickers lol.:o

I just wear M&S regular cotton briefs, I think that comfort comes from the jods you wear. I personally spend a bit more on them. I like Pikeur or Schumacher. I also buy the one's with synthetic leather bottoms, they give a bit more grip without it being too locked into the saddle - if you know what I mean.

i bought a pair from asda ages ago and the first time i wore them riding i was surprised at how comfy they were, i ended up buying a few more pairs just for riding! :D lol

they were kind of lycra with no seams if that's any help but only cost £1.25. haven't seen them recently though. but keep a look out for ones with no seams.

Don't really have a preference, I've never tried any of the underwear speically designed for riding in so I wouldn't really know what was more comfortable, I think a lot depends on the way your horse moves and your saddle and how...errr ...how warm you are down below and how much your are in the saddle, suppose a good seat saver will help at times as well as a good pair of knick knocks.:D

As others have said, anything with no seams are always good. Although I have to say I think comfort comes from the jods you wear.

M&S cotton ones - not the string ones or the massive ones but the ones in between. Cotton pikeur breeches usually.

Bought some special "riding undies' a few years ago and OMG they were grim. Not only ugly but importantly hideously uncomfortable and gave a permanent wedgie. And expensive - shame cos they ended up in the bin!

Depends what I'm doing and what mood I am in, oh and the weather

I often wear thongs and find as long as they are the soft stretchy ones they are really comfy. The other thing I found was making sure what ever I wear the right size with soft stretch and if there are seems, they are in the 'right' place :D

I wear what look like seam free, lycra hotpants. They feel like tiny bikini bottoms, but are very smooth and don't go creeping. They also provide support - I wear them running too and they help to control bounce.
