Hi Guys , I'm looking at some new MW /LW rugs and I'm thinking about the 7o x , I'd just like to know what people think about the gathered neck , is it restrictive in anyway , i imagine it keeps the rain out quite well but thoughts good , bad or ugly would be great..

My horses have never had an issue with them, no rubbing, getting itchy or sweat patches.

I think they are really good, no mud gets on the neck at all, the mane doesn't end up all muddy. And best if all it's good for youngsters as they don't flap in the wind, and do that filled up air ballon effect that some necks do. Having seen a few horses been scared by necks on rugs, I point the owners in pe's direction, hey pseto no more problems

I've had them for about 3 years now - all stable and t/o for an assortment of horses. Good fit and well designed. The only ones I was not totally happy with were some navy blue lw t/o's which leaked and ripped really easily.

I've recently bought the 40g turnout and I'm delighted with it. The neck does look a bit weird at first but it works just fine. Its the only rug I've ever had that doesn't move an inch. Recommend totally.

Thanks for all replies , i'm looking to replace Amigo's , Paddy isn't exactly heavy on rugs but i do get the odd lining rip or a surcingle comes off etc , he loves to roll and is a big oaf.
