I've agreed to take a pony to Rugby Riding Club tomorrow- I haven't jumped in about a year apart from a few cross poles as practice this afternoon (so if anyone's there I apologise now for any horrendous sights in the 2'3"/2'6" class- it's the grey pony that can jump with the rider that can't 
)
It will be my first ever competition round- can I have some tips please?
Oh and will I get shouted at for wearing brown boots & leather chaps, beige breeches & white shirt & tie- as it's spur of the moment I don't have black boots & my jacket is a 3 hour journey back home so I figure it's best to go without than to wear black jacket which I can borrow with brown boots- figure it would look a bit odd!
Only doing it for fun, but don't want to offend anyone by wearing the wrong thing and thinking it's bound to go horribly wrong!
