A really really stupid question!!

Hey all,

was browsing for rugs and was just wondering what the difference was between an under rug and a stable rug??

usually a stable rug has a tougher outer layer. An underrug tends to have more of a duvet feel ..............i think!!

Some under rugs don't have the same poo proof outer as stable rugs I believe. Not as rip proof so lower denier? Tend to be more cottony material than waxy? Could be wrong though

under rugs generaly don't have circingle straps and are also don't have a protective outer and should therefore be cheaper I think.

A lot of under rugs dont have x belly straps

as said above plus sometimes don't have surcingles etc as they rely on the top stable/turnout rug having them. Personally I find it more versatile to buy a stable rug as you can chose to use it as a stable rug or an under-rug!
